Being on a mission to eat and treat my body better, I research many ideas for cooking healthier meals. One of my quests is to find multiple use products and ingredients. In the past few years Himalayan Pink Salt products have gained mainstream notoriety due to the major benefits it can provide to the human body. Join me as we spotlight Himalayan Salt and the various ways to enjoy from bath to kitchen.
Himalayan Pink Salt is said to be salt at it's purest form due to there being no changes to it's composition when harvested. The fact that regular table salt has been chemically altered with anti-clumping agents and additives that strip the important elements from the salt is shocking. Himalayan pink salt is rich with minerals such as iron, magnesium, calcium, and potassium. It also contains traces of fluoride, iodine, zinc, and copper just to name a few.

Please remember, I'm not a Holistic Practitioner nor am I trying to come across as one. If you have a medical condition, I recommend that you first visit your Holistic Practitioner to get your blood tested and ask for a print out to note which minerals your may need more of.
What is a sole? The sole is water that is fully saturated with salt. Please do not short cut and use regular table salt when making a sole. Regular table salt which consist of sodium and chloride, is highly refined, bleached and chemically processed. The purpose of the sole is to nourish the body and regulate the body's pH balance.
Himalayan Sole Recipe
Sole is ready to use if the water has absorbed the maximum amount of salt. If salt is dissolved, add more salt and wait another day. There should be undissolved salt granules on the bottom of the jar. This is your visual proof that the water has reached complete salt saturation.
How often to drink? Himalayan salt sole is best taken first thing in the morning, and up to three times throughout the day. Mix 1 tsp of sole with 1 cup of water.
