Today we have to bring our minds back and be honest with ourselves.
As Christians we daily have to let go and embrace God. We will transform into being more like Christ and not just "being yourself". The statement, "being yourself" encompasses so much that often it takes our mind down an extreme path that shifts our focus away from how God would desire us to look at life. Paralyzing our ability think with a Christ-like mind and distracts us from being humble.
Our responsibility is to do what God will have us to do and in doing so keep our mind and heart humble not to exalt our own selves on our measure of knowledge and success. We do not know in every situation, the best way to handle things. We gain information first and tackle the problem.
Truly, I love the technological advancements yet there is a growing form of laziness coming over the people. The drive that was once strong is plagued with temptations and distractions that make convenient excuses. Our desire to be a better person has to be stronger than the convenience to settle.
Contrary to popular beliefs, God has a pretty sweet deal for every one created in the image of God. Trouble is that humanly speaking, we often have NO clue what that is.
Honestly, we are all guilty of putting God in a box. If its not about putting things off, we think doubt, talk doubt and bathe our minds in unbelief. Unbelief stops God from pouring out the overflow of blessings.
Our life is constantly by faith. Even as a child, our faith is in the fact that we will be taken care of. Often due to unfortunate events and let downs, our faith is left the size of a mustard seed. Still that little mustard seed is enough to help us put our life back into the faithful hands of God.
I have learned that God doesn't fail us at all. God never fails. God doesn't lie. Humans fail humans. Humans lacking trust and faith in God, fail God.
