Confessions of a blogger

How many times should I post? How many categories should I have? Should I have guest bloggers post on the blog? Should I have sponsored posts? The swarm of questions faced to bloggers is enough to make you cover your ears and close your eyes. The creativity and encyclopedia in me will not let me rest thus I have set out to complete the journey of running a blog.

Journalism and radio shows have always intrigued me. Before I began pursuing natural medicine, I wanted to be a journalist. I wanted to help people, provide natural solutions all while interviewing the movers and shakers.

The first blog I ever had, showcased my creative writings. Creative writing was that outlet for me and I enjoyed it right along with abstract painting. By my mid-twenties, I wasn't the active blogger I once was. While talking with a mentor, about fears and ambitions, I decided within myself to pick up the pen again. In this case, type.  I said a prayer and regained confidence. Once again, I embraced sharing my thoughts with others. I didn't want to keep hiding and sitting back on my talents. I did not desire to keep letting the rust build and eat away until nothing was left to use. I didn't make an announcement. I just started.

Being organized
There are so many thoughts and ideas flowing that often I have to sit with yoga music and write things out. Write in my 'blogbabe' journal, I continually create the structure and schedule I need. Now that I'm moving forward and building again,  my next task is posting on the schedule. I want to be more that just the "chic with a blog", my goal is to develop a blog that is a valuable 'go-to' resource. I have noticed that one issue that I pay a little too much concern with is cover pictures. I want to have pics that wow. I'm working hard to take better pics and praying that God brings my path across a visionary's path who can help me in this area.

Work it out
In the meantime, I will not let blog "covers" be my excuse. I will continue to post valuable content and work on the photos along the way. In having a healthy living blog there are multiple facets to it and some I can't cover alone. I have written on my blogger goal list, to post in each category at least once per week and twice if possible. The categories of millimiracle.com is mind+spirit for motivation and self-growth posts. Nourish where I feature clean eating recipes and healthy eats around Chicago. Then last but not least wellness, with health information, industry news, ingredient and product highlights.

Being a blogger isn't a field of daisies, yet there are many successful bloggers in the community. I just simply want to share my journey, my findings and inspirations with those willing to listen/read. I have enjoyed the journey and I'm learning a LOT. Thank you for subscribing to the blog, shopping in the shop, and sharing on social media. Without you I wouldn't have an audience. I look forward to the blogging journey ahead!

Blessings,
Millicent
