"What we hear, see, read and watch. Even feeling, smelling, and taste will become a weapon that will either help me or hurt me." -Linal Harris During the month of June, as things were going well in the shop, the laptop that I rarely log off on except for sleep suffered a tragic and virtually painful event. After long hours of recovery work, this beautiful laptop returned to me like a shiny new penny. Completely void of all my work but totally healed from the nasty virus. I knew I could re-build my work, yet I felt horrible on the inside.
I dream of doing vlogging and traveling one day. Right now, I'm rebuilding and enjoying this journey. I count it an honor to be able to share my story in a community of other like minds. To encourage readers to discover natural solutions to their healthcare, healthy eats and inspiration. Years ago, I'm not so sure I would have been able to control my emotions. I would've panicked and been hysterical. I had to learn the first step to improving a healthy perspective, especially when dealing with a crisis. Take care of the mind and spirit. We must utilize good stewardship over our energy and what we allow our sensitiveness to absorb and magnify. A negative perspective and defense will create a false sense of security. This month, as you may have heard a successful celeb-gossip blogger, Necole announced to readers that she was moving on. In her writing, she expressed how she wasn't going to let herself be stuck and be satisfied with her success but strive to achieve more and live a more fulfilled life. Hearing her story inspired me. I could relate to her humble beginnings and her leap of faith reminded me of my own acts to overcome doubts and fears. When challenges face us and when the skies are sunny, we have to inspect ourselves. Surround ourselves with others who have achieved what we desire. There is a difference between hanging with people who have dreams versus people that are actively making their dreams into reality. After cups of tea and prayer, I began writing the inspirations that flooded my spirit. This site millimiracle.com, has seen growth and wasn't just a little journal of my random shares and recipe holder anymore. While figuring out a new schedule, I was moved to share what had taken place behind-the-scenes of millimiracle.com and how I was affected. Each day as the crisis continued, I meditated multiple times through the day and applied essential oils to the back of my neck, behind the ears and soles of my feet at bedtime. These techniques helped me have clarity when in the past I would be overwhelmed and fogged. When you take time to care for yourself (release, heal and restore) you in return become stronger and discover the ability to handle situations more effectively in the future. I could have used this crisis and losing all my work as a lame excuse to stop blogging as a sign telling me to stop. Just like in college you keep moving forward. You may cry a little then you shake yourself, learn and improve so that you can get get the ultimate goal achieved...like that Masters degree for instance. I say this often, every time I say it, I sincerely mean it. Thank you. Your feedback helps me share relevant content along with solutions and tips to the questions you ask. I appreciate being able to share my "journal" with you and pray you continue to find inspiration and discover the miracle within you. Love & Gratitude,
Millicent
